Singer/Songwriter Geno Samero was born and raised in South Jersey and began performing music at age 14. One of his first gigs was at his high school where he sang and played drums. Geno is a devoted musician and travels to wherever the next gig is. He is the driving force behind his rock band the Diligents, and has performed over 2500 concerts throughout the DE valley, Georgia, Florida, New England and the Carribean. Geno once played a concert in the Virgin Islands that lasted over 8 hours.While in California, Geno recorded at the home of Dan Aykroyd in the Hollywood Hills, with Legendary Rock Producer Dito Godwin. He has also logged countless hours in recording studios in Florida and at Full Sail where he was mentored by other accomplished major label producers. Geno loves to meet new artists and has had many musical partners over the years who often reunite with him on stage. He is also a father to his 7 year old son Zachary, who occasionally joins in singing, drumming or with his harmonica.
